My dad told me about this, he wants to go with my mom to washington d.c. But I dont know the purpose of this really. I'm kind of weary of this whole thing, I think that when Muslims in America want to show the people about Islam they have to communicate to them i.e. on Television or Radio, by the word about Islam.

Making americans see muslims in Salah all the time is not how you bring people to understand Islam because they have no idea whats the purpose of Salah they dont even know who the Salah is for. Thats why I think if Muslims get together and open up 30 Minute Segmants on Islam and PBS or something for instance and tell people about Allah and Tawheed thats a better way for people to understand Islam rather then them seeing thousands of Muslims doing salah when they have no Idea what Islam or salah is.

This is very interesting.
I was not aware of it until you posted. I think it's a good idea, sometimes you need to pray for those ' who you don't agree with' so they may be guided.

I don't mind praying for the misguided, but doing it in a place where they decide to invade muslim lands and oppress the people of those lands, is wrong.
