The best revenge against the enemy and detractors is SUCCESS. If good befalls you, the enemy is sorrowful, but if evil befalls you, his day is made. By being gloomy and downcast you'll give plaesure to your enemy. The trick is, even if you are depressed or down, never let the enemy see it in you. Raise your head high, square your shoulders and walk tall. When you get to your room however, you may break down completely and cry to Allah for Mercy.
The enemy is always waiting to rejoice over your misfortune, the best you should do is to be successful, and continue to be so. This will perpetually make him sad. If he is disparaging you or spreading slander about you, ignore him, just keep on achieving and never look back.
To totally shatter the enemy, be magnanimous and even share your success with him, per chance he will see the light and change. But, be warned, do not expect thanks from him so you wont be disappointed.
