Your voice like a dove, it flew into my heart,
I knew you were the one, from the very start.
I would like to say I love you more,
But words can’t explain how much I adore.
How much I adore the things you do,
Without you dear, I won’t have a clue.
Your patience with me is of great length,
Contributing to your growing strength.
I work all day, confronting my demise,
But when I’m at home, you become my prize.
Your smile keeps my anger at bay,
And your sincere words help to convey.
Convey how much you mean to me,
My heart of sorrow, you do well please.
The way Allah brought us together,
Will be in my heart forever and ever.
Even though sometimes our love may be battered,
Our love of Allah will not leave it shattered.
So cheer up when we have the blues,
It’s only brief, like a purple bruise.
When I’m down your soft eyes swarm me,
Like a pure breeze, coming for me.
I do not wish to be with anyone but you,
You caught my heart when in the sky it flew.
Your cheerful spirit brings light to the house,
