brothers and sisters...
I was browsing through another forum and came across a thread that spoke about this project in detail...
they are currently still studying the project...they wish to make official translations in English (and other languages) of all books of the sahih hadiths available (i.e. bukhari..muslim..abo dawood...etc.)...the project is a long-term one..they predict that it will take about 5 years *to complete*..but they already started with some parts of it...
they wish to receive help from professionals who can volunteer in translating amongst other skills (all those involved in the project are volunteers for the record!)...or any other individuals who can refer those professionals to the website of the project...
mashallah...this is a wonderful idea...imagine having a database...where you can find sahih books of hadiths in English along with their Arabic original at the click of a button!...
please spread this around...you never know...it might come across someone who can help in referring people...or financial support...or any other help available...
