The Forgotten Hadith

Sahih Bukhari, Book 01, Number 65:

A Muslim is he from whose hand and tongue the Muslim's are safe.

Book 001, Number 0066:

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Musa Ash'ari: I asked the Messenger of Allah which (attribute) of Islam is more excellent. Upon this he remarked: One in which the Muslims are safe, protected from the tongue and hand of (other Muslims). Ibrahim b. Sa'id al-Jauhari has narrated this hadith with the same words in addition to these. The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) was asked as to who amongst the Muslims is better, and the rest of the hadith was narrated like this.

regardless of whether a muslim has a beard or is clean shaven. regardless of whether a muslimah is wearing a hijab or is open haired, we should not hurt one another by our hands and tongues.

we should look at the good positive contributions of muslims, and not complain about some tiny imperfection that a muslim/muslimah may have (e.g. beard, hijab, turban etc). Nobody is perfect but we should look at the good of people and not backbite about one another. This will lead to disgrace and disunity of the ummah.

Be moderate, do not go into extremes in your religion. Whoever does so, shall not be able to continue in that manner.

salam very helpful reminder but we should do correction firstly of our self then we must correct others in the way that might not hurt others as Quraan says: wamain ahsun qoolan munn da'ah ilalah wa amila salihan wa qala inani minal muslameen
wsalam
