They're American soldiers under attack from Iraqis, it sounds as if the American soldiers have been cornered off and are being heavily bombarded by the Iraqis.

Salam alai kum

The American soldiers are in a state of shock and despair and scared judging from their reaction and shouting, some of them are trying to stay calm and at that moment asking their Lord to help them through the situation they are in.

To me it seems as if people only want to remember their Lord when they're are in despair but once everything is calm again and Allah has brought them out of a situation they forget Allah again.
