The reality of this life

"And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?"
Surah Yasin (36) Verse 68

Amazing how Allah puts things in perspective with such few words. We started out weak, unable to see, unable to do things independently. As we age we become stronger but after a certain time we again revert back to the state in which we began, a state of weakness and dependence on others.

This verse stood out a lot to me when reading the Quran for the first time. It is like it is written just as dementia/alzheimers is becoming more and more common in modern life.

SubhanAllah so beautiful , u know what really amazes me how Allah (swt) begins the verse "And he to whom we grant long life", SubhanAllah cause some people are going to live long life while others are not, everyone is not going to go through the same things as everyone else, SubhanAllah there is perfection in every single verse, like it takes out any possibility of anyone questioning anything in the verse (or the quran itself).

You brought up a good point, how Allah puts perfection in every verse. I was reading Surah Jathiya today and ayat 3-5 really struck me. In Ayah 3 Allah mentions the signs for the believers (mumineen). In Ayah 4 Allah mentions the signs for the ones who are certain (yuqeenoon). Then in Ayah 5 Allah mentions the signs for the ones who use reason (ya'qiloon). Obviously Allah used these 3 characteristics for a reason. If He wanted to say the same thing He would have said the same thing, but he didn't. I'm still trying to wrap my head around why exactly He used each one in each situation. This book is just too deep.
