Assalamalecum wa rehmatullahi wa barakhatahu.friends today we see that young generation s especially teenagers they treat their parents as their friends or atm machines, they mostly don't listen to parents and feel lazy to help them.but do we know what Allah wants from us after worshipping him??? Surah Al isra ch 17 v 23-24-Allah says that worship him there is nobody like him and there is command from your lord that if one of ur parents or both of them reach senescence then behave with them properly and u should not utter even ooff, pray to Allah to shower mercy on them in the same way they raised us in our childhood.from this verse v conclude that there is no concept of old age home in Islam. Allahfiz.

Wa`alaikum salaam warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh.

Well said, brother. And subhaanallah, I've heard of cases where the children go to the point of hitting their parents. I get that non-Muslim kids are able to do this due to their upbringing but for it to also happen in the Muslim communities is very shameful. May Alaah `azza wa jalla help us all.
