The sins of Riba

When I was younger (and therefore had no knowledge or say in the matter), my parents bought our house with interest (riba). As one of the most heinous sins, I fear for them and their judgement. What can they do to redeem themselves in front of Allah (SWT)? If I inherit their house, will I sin as well?

Allah does not punish you for the sins of someone else.

If you are very concerned, then upon inheritance just sell the house and donate all the funds to a charitable cause.

So what if upon inheritance, I'll have to continue to make payments?

Well, hopefully they will have paid it off by then but if not, you can sell it. No more mortgage payments!
