Bismillar-Ar-Rahman-Ar-Raheem Al-hamdulilahi-Rabbil-Alamin: The Source of Wisdom now reveals a parable for profound contemplation. Are these Words of Truth that have the power to express the Living Truth are like flourishing trees whose roots, or direct meanings, are established deep in the earth of the heart and whose branches, or subtle meanings reach high into the sky of mystical Knowledge. By the permission of Allah(swt), these trees bear fruit during every season. Please inform me on this subject, my dear brothers in Al-Islam(Insha Allah);
While listening to a lecture about Al-Islam. The Lecture spoke of brother Bilal(may Allah be pleased with him) and said that he was not a slave. That he was one of the Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) dearest and trusted
companion. Al-Hamdulilahi: Brother Bilal(may Allah be pleased with him) accompanied the Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) on his battles and other journeys that the Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) made. He was the first african man to accept Al-Islam. However, he was hired by the Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w.) wife Khadijah(may Allah be pleased with her) as his tutor. The Lecture stated that brother Bilal(may Allah be pleased with him) was a lawyer, (his occupation for that day) and that he was from Ethiopia and never a slave. The Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w.) wife Khadijah(may Allah be pleased with her) hired another man along with Bilal(may Allah be pleased with him)and his name was, Zaid Ibn Herod (I maybe spelling brother Herod name wrong "Insha-Allah" may Allah continue to guide us as we search for the answers and may Allah be pleased with him) none the less, brother Herod(may Allah be pleased with him) was a military man, from Ethiopia as well, also a hired tutor for the Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w). "Now", we must further look into the fascinating truth about Ethiopia during that age. Why did Khadijah(may Allah be pleased with her) hire these two afrikan men from Ethiopia? The lecture and his teachings has made me aware that the Ethiopians may have played an important role toward saving Al-Islam! Let us exam the first subject at hand my dear brothers in Al-Islam can you please shine some light on this matter for me (Insha Allah). The lecture states that Rasoolullah; asked brother Bilal(may Allah be pleased with him) to be his successor. "If you will", the next Caliph! The distinguished afrikan brother Bilal(may Allah be pleased with him) in Al-Islam decline the Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) offer. Masha-Allah. After the Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) death brother Bilal(may Allah be pleased with him) called the prayer two more times after, and was gone. let us exam the lecture views on Al-Islam. Why is the Islamic encyclopedia politically incorrect? Why is Brother Bilal left out? Whats the real story about Bilal and Afrikan Muslims after they reverted toward Al-Islam? Did the Afrikan Muslim come back to the Arab Muslim and tell them that they were not practicing Al-Islam correctly? Our beloved Brother of spirituality states that In Libya when the call to prayer is heard the whole country stops what they are doing and hasten to prayer as commanded by Allah(swt) compared to the conduct of our Egyptians brothers and other Arab Muslims where we are able to purchase all kinds of spiritual flavors of all sorts (i.e. Scotch,etc...) as if the Athan is a normal thing. What is the lecture really sharing with us Muslims? "Politics or Spirituality?" What was the Arab Muslims true motivation in AfriKa; was it restoring the forgotten heritage to the forgotten people or they're destruction to exist as true Muslims who follow there Deen whole heartily? I wanna know! Through such parables, My beloved, the Source of Light illuminates the nature of our Glorious Qur'an so that humanity may meditate and truly understand. May Allah(swt) guide us toward the purity of all hearts as one connection as Muslim we have been taught that Qul huw-Allahu Ahad Allahus-Samad, lam yalid wa lam yoolad, wa lam yakun lahoo kufuwan ahad. We are all one in the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Al-Islam; As-Salaam-Alaikum-Rahman-Tu-Allhai-Wa-Barakatu Your beloved brother,
Dr. Abdul Salaam
