Can someone please explain to me how one manages to know the exact timings for prayers?Im curious to know how Muslim astronomers calculate this precision and im also wondering if its available in the quran?

It is based on the position of the sun during the day. Since the Earth follows a predictable pattern, that's how we can predict the prayer times.
