To all who made dua for me

Assalaam walaikum,

I just want to thank everyone. I had been unemployed for one and a half-years. I not only drove myself but everyone around me crazy. It was a small test. There were days when I got scared.

Anyhow...I submitted an average of seven resumes a week for a period of 52 weeks. My fingers started to hurt. I received a call for an interview to work with delinquent and adjudicated youth. It was a very promising job.

I needed a reference. I went to the Islamic school, where I volunteered to be the Islamic Studies teacher, to ask the program director to make a phone call this morning. The job would start on Monday. She looked at me and offered me a teaching position at academy.

I had no choice. I took her offer immediately. And from the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone of you. That which is with Allah is better.

Dua is powerful. Dua is real. May Allah reward you for keeping me in your supplication.

Mashallah, I'm happy for you. Does this mean you will not be commenting on every thread on TTI, anymore? :O

Your attitude is always appropriate, I can tell you're a genuinely calm and accepting person from the tone of your posts. Mashallah.

Assalaam walaikum,

No, not necessarily...on my other jobs..I would get bored and see what was going on TTI...when I see that someone has taken the time to post and there are no responses I always write a little something out of being polite...

and sometimes I like to see us get involved..so I write something to make us think...

Assalaam walaikum,

Sister, trust me Allah has given me so much..so much...

You know how blessed I am:

1. get to walk to work..masjid is a ten minute walk.
2. get to be near sons; leave home with them and be home when they get home
3. I do not have to worry about my mother. I can run home in an emergency.
4. If I had taken the other job..good money..I would have missed two to three salats a day..and I don't know about you when I can not pray the time gets crazy
5. I will be able to have Quran lessons every day.
6. I get to make salat with all my students
7...Sister...I have my TTI family...and each one of you is a blessing in my life.
