As-Salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters. I have a few suggestions for TTI. I think it would be much better and smarter if the whole site revamped to a new interface so it would make the forum:
- more modern as the interface at the moment looks a little plain and not that much vibrant,
- user friendly as some of the site is untidy at times with text being out of line etc and it being possibly difficult for younger members to navigate around due to small writing and a lot of content which may not actually relate to them (as they may not understand it) popping up everywhere,
- more interactive for everyone with more new content (other than just a forum with lots of posts etc) like Islamic quizzes which would make people feel more at home. Especially younger members as there would be something fun for them to do which would in turn have benefit since they would be learning something. Also with posts they could have a like button but not include a dislike button to make things fair. The number of likes a member accumulates would make them feature on some special page to show their contribution to the site based on members likes on their post/s,
- more safer with younger members (under 18 for example) having default privacy settings already set for them (that cannot be changed until they reach a certain age) which would hide selected information that would be private from non members visiting the site (as well as TTI members even). As another line of safety it would also disable some of the sections like contact info from being filled in due to minors accidentally putting up info that is private (like their street address in the location section) as they may not be aware of the dangers.
I have spent a lot of time writing this up so please tell me what you think of my suggestions. Thanks.
