Salam aleykum
Do u need wudu before u can read the Quran? or can u read from it even if u dont have wudu, all i heard was that u cant tuch it if u need ghusl.

:salam2: You can recite the surahs if you have memorized it without wudu. But you have to have wudu before you open and touch the Quran to read it.

the imam told us that it is better to be in wudu before taking the quran.. but it is not wrong taking it without making it.

Is it the same rules for a translated Quran in my case the swedish translation, as if it is the arabic Quran?
