Rubbish. The author of the article is a random lady not any government official. There are many different views in Turkey but the majority opinion is still strongly against Israel.

I would be carefull with the source of this new (timesofisrael) as it looks zionist site. They send disinformation to break unity of the muslims - like kind of "news".

Jazakallah Khayrun Brother Mehmet Hilm for your comments. As a Turkish person, perhaps in Turkey itself, you are in a good position to know the true state of affairs among the Turkish masses. If I may add, the story itself is not referring to the Turkish majority or the Turkish people in general. It is referring to the Turkish government, the 'Turkish tech entrepreneurial community' and the links between the two countries. I don't think or at least I can't see it inferred those being spoken of were the Turkish masses. If however, I gave that impression by reprinting the article, I am sorry, but that was not my intention.
In addition, Sister Herb, jazakallah khayrun to yourself as well. I am aware of the need to be careful and attentive when analysing and looking at sources that are heavily prejudiced in favour of Israel. I am a writer myself and take information and knowledge with hindsight, a critical eye and consciously of its relevance and authenticity first. I would believe as a Muslim forum, most users would do the same, knowing and realising who the disseminators of the story are.
I included it to show what our Jewish neighbours are doing to downplay the situation in Gaza by making it appear not everyone is their enemy in the Muslim world and it is 'business as usual', perhaps next time, I will add comments to let everyone know what's on my mind as well.
