As Salamu 'Alaykum,
In a private discussion, I mentioned that at times I can "feel" Allah.
It was explained to me that what I was "probably" feeling was Allah's love.
I understand that physically Allah is not omnipresent as most Christians are taught. But, because of his omniscience he is closer than any one or thing to the believer.
سُوۡرَةُ قٓ
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُ ۥ*!ۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِيدِ (?١٦?)
Qaf
We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. (16)
Of course, Allah is omnipotent and omniscience as most Christians are taught; however, since Allah is Allah and all that is not Allah is his creation, he couldn't be omnipresent (omni- all).
I found an article that helped me to understand that which was excellently explained in my private conversation by one of our members and I thought that perhaps others who are new reverts might benefit from it.

I am always concerned that I will be sharing information from sites that are not presenting factual and truthful information. Being a new revert, I often don't know the difference.
