I ♥ Allah (SWT)
Introduction
Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters. I have created this thread to uplift the Imaan of those who are going through a rough patch in their life or feeling saddened about something. I have compiled a number of sources from the Hadith, a book called The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding Islam (http://www.islamicbulletin.org/free_downloads/new_muslim/complete_idiot_guide_islam.pdf), another book called A Brief Illustrated Guide to Understanding Islam (http://www.islam-guide.com/islam-guide.pdf) and finally bits from my school assignment I did about Jannah in Islam last year. Read on and I'll conclude at the end. Enjoy and feel your faith uplifted.
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: The value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like what your finger brings from the sea when you put it in and then take it out. That is the value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like a few drops of water compared to the sea.
Narrated in Saheeh Muslim, #2858, and Mosnad Ahmad, #17560
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also said:
A space in Paradise equivalent to the size of a foot would be better than the world and what is in it.
Narrated in Saheeh Al-Bukhari, #6568, and Mosnad Ahmad, #13368
Every wish you want will be fulfilled.
Everything you want in this world will be waiting for you.
All of the pleasures of this world cannot be compared to the pleasures of Paradise.
Paradise is so beautiful it cannot be comprehended by the human mind.
You will never be tired, hungry, feel hot or cold or need to go to the toilet.
There will be no pain, discomfort, difficulties, injustice, sadness, evil or ill talk.
You will never grow old or die again.
Everyone will be around the age of 30.
Wine will be permissible to drink and it will not cause intoxication.
You will never have to do anything like make food because your servants will do it for you.
Every question you ever had will be answered.
There will be never any darkness.
All of the pleasures in Jannah will be increasing all the time, like if an apple is eaten, each bite will taste better than the previous bite.
The greatest reward of all is the ability to see Allah (SWT). He can be seen beyond the seventh layer in a fantastic spectacle of indescribable light and sound.

In Paradise there are things which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has thought of.
Allah has told us many things about Paradise, but in a narration the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Never mind what Allah has told you; what He has not told you is even greater.”
Narration in Saheeh Muslim
Allah (SWT) the all Merciful, Forgiving and Loving
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: Your Lord, Who is blessed and exalted, is most merciful. If someone intends to do a good deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he does do it, (a reward of) ten to seven hundred or many more times (the reward of the good deed), will be recorded for him. And if someone intends to do a bad deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he does do it, a bad deed will be recorded against him or God will wipe it out.
Narrated in Mosnad Ahmad, #2515, and Saheeh Muslim, #131
“Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves (by sinning), do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
Qur’an, 39:53
Allah loves us 70 times more than a mother loves her child.

“And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer)…” Qur’an, 40:60
Conclusion
I hope you have benefited from this post and you feel uplifted no matter what the situation you are going through at the moment.
Just remember these few key quotes when times get tough. Feel free to come back and read this thread if it helps.
“Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…” Qur'an, 2:286
"Truly, it is by the Remembrance of Allah that hearts find rest." Qur'an, 13:28
Finally a beautiful poem about Jannah

Paradise compared to this Dunya
Why be famous, rich and enjoy the pleasures of this world?
