A reknown ulama studied surah Al-Qadr. He came up with a theory that LailatulQadr most likely takes place on the 27th night of Raamadhan. He pointed out the following: Total words in the Surah are 30. Take 3 out, being the number of times LilatulQadr is mentioned therein, 27 remains.
Another beauty ( or strange coincidence) about the surah is that it has a total of 114 letters, in addition to 30 words mentioned above. Correspondingly, AlQuranulkarim carries similar number i.e 114 surahs and 30 juzu'.
Wallahu'alam.

:)Interesting but numerology will drive a person mad, you can find very similar patterns to show it is on the 25, 26, ... 30th date too using such logic so I recommend not wasting time with these things. I have seen layat al Qadr on other days, not just the 27th... you can tell by the calmness that night and the way the sun rises in the morning...
