Praise be to Allah who guided you to become a muslimah and inspired you to wear the hijab :ma: Your post reminded me of many years ago, when I started to wear the hijab. It is the best feeling ever alhamdulillah. Sister you are so right, that you are pleasing Allah by wearing it. May Allah make it easy for you and make you steadfast in this beautiful religion amin.
The best thing about wearing hijab is that you are obeying Allahs command in the quran, and you feel protected and a sense of honour, just by wearing it. You know that the female companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) all wore big hijab that covered them up. And we should emulate them, because they are the best generation and the greatest people after the Prophets (may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon all of them)
In the beginning you may experience people looking at you in a strange way or maybe you will hear some bad comments, but just be patient dear sister. Soon the hijab will be a part of you, and you will not even notice any negativity
