Was Dhul-Fiqar (Zulfiqar) real?

Assalamu Alaykum
For those of you that don't know, Zulfiqar (Arabic: ذو الفقار or Dhul-Fiqar) was the sword used by Huseyn ibn 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, (may Allah have mercy on them and be pleased with them) and the Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah (PBUH&HF).

Some may recognize it since it's on the symbol for Shi'a. Here's a picture of the symbol that shows the sword (without the Shi'a addition to the Shahadah, courtesy of wikipedia):

My question is: is this sword real? Or is it like the Excalibur? I've seen this sword used by Muhammad saw in the movie: "The Message", but is it real? JazakAllahu Khair for reading/answering this question/mini-explanation.

Ali (RA) was a great swordsman, he would have two swords, and was able to fight dual handed.

No, there is no such thing as Excalibur, nor was it like that. these things do not exist today. Some people made some fake relic kind of things and put them in museums. But, they are not real.

Also, there is no such thing as Shia Islam. You mean the Rafidah(Rejectors). What they follow can never be compared to what the Prophet and his companions followed.

Anyway, JazakAllahu Khair for all your posts. Brother Akhi - I know not to use wikipedia, but I always use it anyways I use it when searching up pictures, searching up un-important stuff, and searching up Islamic Terms in Arabic.

And Brother Mabsoot - I'll edit my post (Insha'Allah, about the Shi'a Islam thing) and it's an interesting fact that 'Ali was dual handed.

Uphold the Truth

Actually in my well-researched view, the Shia version of Islam is closer to what the Prophet envisioned. Shia Islam seems to honour everything that the Prophet said, and doesn't attempt to tamper with history or rely on propaganda to further it's tribe. What is encouraging is that the world-view too seems to agree more with the Shia view than the "other" view.
History is witness to the fact that large groups have initially opposed the Truth, but the Truth eventually triumphs. So it shall be again!

did you learn about shiaa or you are one of them?? if you are shiaa we can discuss openly about the ''others'' view.
