UHHHH, I was wondering..........

You know how there is a hadith that says it is haraam to wear pants that go below the ankles......
that's nice...but
What are you supposed to do If you live in a live in a northernly climate ?...like lets say canada for example....??
Is it still a sin to wear pants below the ankles???
If I wear pants outside that don't go below the ankles I'll fricken freeze to death , my fricken legs will turn to icicles or get frosbite or something.....:lol:
I don't mean to be a whimp
but to wear pants that don't go below then ankles in a cold winterly climate like Canada is absolutly ludicrous. There's still fricken snow outside......
This is like asking someone in saudi arabia to wear a parka....
it just doesnt make sense
