Brothers & Sisters, this is going to look a little weird but nearly every night now, i see massive, white/silvery spiders i think i'm hallucinating but i don't take anything...!!!

My mum has always told me to read the Atul Kursi 3 times before i go2 sleep and blow @ all the corners in my bedroom, i do and i don't have nightmares anymore but all i see i spiders...!

Is there an islamic explantion for this or is it just me....???!!!

Nah, prolly they're just real spiders. Try spraying some insect killers in your room. LoL my husband hates it when I throw spiders at him.

Asalam alaikum warahmatullah

I would like to find out if there is any meaning to cats meowing at ones' doorstep. It is weird I know but for a couple of nights this month and I think part of last month 2 cats sat on our door step and MEOW really loudly and they go on for hours. It is kinda like they are communicating with each other. I first thought maybe some babies were crying but one night my hubby opened the door and saw two cats and they just ignored him and carried on. A couple of nights ago they started again and it woke me from my sleep and they only shut up and went away when one of the neighbours told them to go away, she said something like 'hey you stop it and get away from there' lol.

I have heard that when donkeys bray it means there is a lot of jinn in that particular village and when cocks crow it means there are Angels in that village. The lecture I listened to was about Jinn and the example was given in relation to villages so I don't know if it applies to anything else.

Oh I forgot to mention that the cats only come and make noise after Ishaa and sometimes not before midnight.

i advise you to read sourat elikhlass, sourat el falak and sourat ennass, before you go to bed, they are good,
i use to read them always, one day i forgot to ead them i passed a very nasty night full of nightmares.

Do you see spiders every night??? are you sure they are'nt really there...you could be hallucinating..you don't necessarly have to be taking anything to have hallucinations....you can get them because of extreme tiredness or even something serious like schizophrenia..I'm not trying to scare you but if no one else can see them i suggest you get your self checked out..Do you feel anything else apart from seeing spiders??

The cats are probably "in season" trying to start a family. In any case it is always good to say "aoothu mina shaitani arrajeem" and the suras mentioned above, al-ikhlas, al-falaq and an-naas. Also I learned from a sister's posting about Jinn that it is good to have Surat Al-Bakarah recited in the house and so at home we are in the habit of having this set up from the computer from www.quranexplorer.com and you can pick a great reciter, like Mishari Rasheed, Masha Allah.

Are your eyes closed when you see these spiders? Maybe it is a trick of the eye. Say "aoothu mina shaitani arajeem" and the surahs suggested above and recite or play from www.quranexplorer.com from your computer Surat Al Bakarah as often as possible. If there are no real spiders, see an opthamologist, it may be something with the nerves in the eyes. May Allah rid you of this nuisance.

lol i honestly don't knw....

.... ok, usually at this time of the year, we get a lot of spiders in our house but they are usually the creepy black ones but recently, like, everytime i wake up, they're surrounding my bed and i suddenly jump out every now and then scarin' my sisters to death with me....

.... i have told my mates/family as well and they think it's jus' stress 'cos i've got my exams in the next few weeks and i get stressed easily because i'm also thinkin' of droppin' outta the 6th form and don't know what to do in the future....

... i've also started wearing hijab recently and i've stopped linking my "boy mates" and to everyone that knows me,,, they think that's a HUGE change for me because i've gone a little "sensible" than i used to be and say that it's all in my head...!!!

.... It probably is though, i'm starting to think it is as well unless there is like some new hybrid breed of glow-in-the-dark spiders....
