Assalam alakum
In islamqa.com as i understood, they say that you dont have to say ''wallahi...'' or similar expression. As long as you make a promise to Allah ''Oo Allah, i promise i will do that...'' or ''Oo Allah, i promise i will not do that...'' then its an oath and if you break it you gotta make kaffarah.
But in some other sites, i read that to make an oath you gotta say ''wallahi...'' If you didnt say that and broke your promise, then no kaffarah required as i understood.
So what you know about this ?
P.S Please dont take this as a fatwa or an article to learn about Islam. I just wanted to ask which one seems to be more accurate.
