I guess your question hasn't been answered yet. You were asking what's better than a thousand nights, well according to the Quran in Surah Al Qadr,it says,"Lailatul Qadr ( the Night of Power) is better than a thousand months." This night falls in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan. Its virtue lies in the fact that revelation of the Quran started on that night. According to the Sunnah, whoever prays on that night will have all his previous sins forgiven, that's why it's better than a thousand months - in its rewards. Its exact date is not known so that people will do their best in their acts of worship all through these ten nights.
