What is Tawjeed

salam brother,

i think you mean Tajweed not Tawjeed. Tajweed is the way the qorna is recited. as Allah said in the qiran

Surat Al-mozzamil '' O thou folded in garments! (1) Stand (to pray) by night, but not all night― (2) Half of it― or a little less (3) Or a little more; and recite the Qur'an in slow, measured rhythmic tones. (4) ''

so Tajweed are those mesured thytmic tones. And there is books teaching the wau you have to pronouncite lettres and when to stop and when to dont have to stop...etc. We can say Tajweed is study of recitation of coran by meseared thythmic tones.

What i think is tajweed is more like accent and grammer you pick it up on your own . It helps if you are cultured and disciplined and like with everything else practice make an impact - when ever i pray i try to pray out loud and saw that helps too.-

Yeah I found that website ........when I google what is Tajweed and so far Mash'allah it is very helpful........yeah I am also studying arabic and when I read or even recite the quran I tried to say it out loud to listen for errors but I must admit......my voice does not sound so melodious........I guess it just something I need to work on
