It is 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen. :)

Both are on the Periodic Table of Elements and are gasses. When combined in this particular way, they form a covalent compound. That compound is water.

We would be left with hydrogen gas. HOWEVER brother, I've been to a lecture before and what the lecturer said was quite interesting and might be connected to your question.

In surah At-Takwir, chapter 81, ayat 6, it says "And when the seas are set ablaze"

She told us that on the Day, when the crust of the earth is wrenched apart, something like magma will spread into the sea, taking away the oxygen and LITERALLY setting the seas ablaze.

I thought that might be interesting. :) Otherwise- I guess I could look it up.
