When do I eat?

If Fajr is 5 am and
Sunrise is at 6:30 am


When do I eat breakfast?


before fajr ( before 5 am)

or anytime before sinrise ( before 6:30 am)

To my knowledge you STOP eating when you hear the Adhan for Fajr. You can eat any time up to that point. I have the adhan on my PC, when it goes off I stop eating & drinking my coffee

salam alaykum wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuh

You stop eating at (Fajr), not sunrise, so you stop at 5 a.m
and you have to break the fast when you hear (magh'reb) then pray. and you have to break with dates (tamer) it's the sunnah and if you haven't just water.
God doesn't want anybody to fast a minute more than ordained.

The prophet, peace be upon him said, "Hurry up with the breakfast and delay the pre-fast meal (Suhoor)."

hmm.. if the athan is at 5am, technically I always stop 5 minutes before the athan, so I can brush my teeth etc so no traces of food at all are left.
