Where to place the hands while standing during salah?Please reply by quoting authentic hadiths.
Some say that it is sunnah to place the hands on the chest while some Indians say that it is sunnah to place the hands on the navel.
I think placing the hands on the chest is the sunnah of our Prophet.
How to convince the Indians?Please quote some authentic hadiths.

Most Indians dont do rafaddain(raising hands before going to ruku and after getting up from ruku).It is mentioned in Bukhari Volume 1,Hadiths 702-706, that it is sunnah to do rafaddain.

Both are sunnah.

nothing is there to convience as both practise are sunnah.

Doing rafa yadain is sunnah, not doing rafa yadain is also sunnah.
