Almighty Allah Says in the Holy Qur’an “By the declining day, Lo, man is in the state of loss, save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth exhort one another to endurance. (Surah Al-asr)
These verses reveal that all the human beings are in the real state of loss except those who belong to four categories. It means that they are safe and sound from this loss and successful. First category belongs to those who have faith in Allah Almighty as being their Creator, lord and the absolutely king of the universe.
The Holy Quran reveals, “Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and He is able to do all things. Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving.” (Almulk:2)
And the second category belongs to those who, after having faith in Allah Almighty, do good deeds. It means that they offer prayers for five times daily, and pay the poor-due and avoid from the evils etc. An example of the good deed mentioned in the sayings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) he said, "the foundation of Islam lays on five pillars, to bear a testimony that there is no deity but Allah and Muhammad (PBUH ) is the Messenger of Allah, and to offer prayers for five times daily, and to give the poor-due and fasting of Ramazanul- Mubarak, and to offer Hajj if having sufficient expenses".
And the third category belongs to those people who, not only act upon the teachings of Islam themselves but also invite others to do so, and avoid from bad actions themselves and invite others to this way.
This action begins from home at first. It means that if a faithful believer offer prayers himself but his son, wife or daughter do not offer or they disobey the commands of Allah, so he will be asked about them at the Day of Judgment for it.
The Holy Qur’an reveals ,”And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful. ( Aal-e-Imran”104) Also reveals,”Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the people of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers.”(Aal-e-Imran:110)
It means that every faithful believer is bound to command and prohibition of good and bad actions to all his family members and other faithful believers in the light of Shariah. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that every Muslim was ruler over his family members and would be asked about them at the Day of Judgement.
Religious scholars say that a woman will take four men into the Hell at the Day of Judgment. When she will be confirmed as a sinner and the guilty of Sharia. Then she will file a writ before the Court of Allah saying,” O my God! There are four other criminals also that took part in my sins but they made me sinner in real. And they are my father, elder son, brother and husband”.
Then she will give details as saying:-
“My God! He is my honorable father, he brought me up and paid all my rights. But when I did not offer prayers and disobeyed your other commands, he never said me, “O my daughter! Why did you not offer the prayers and so and so”? If he had pressed me, I would have surely offer the prayer. Then she will say the same words about her elder brother and son. And about her husband she would say,” My God! He is my husband, when I did not press his cloths or dinner becomes late, he made a quarrel with me and tortured me; but when I did not offer prayer and disobeyed your other Commands, he did not took any notice. So, these four persons are the same partners in my sins. So, put them into Hell with m”. So, my brothers in Islam! please be careful for the duty of preaching to your family member so that you may not become a guilty at the Day of Judgement.
And the fourth category belongs to those people who, when pay the duty of command and prohibition and the people torture them, they keep patience over it. Because it is the sunnah of the holy Prophet (PBUH) as we find it in the Holy Quran. In short, these four categories of the people just mentioned here are the really successful people. And those who are out of this, are in the real state of loss. May Allah Almighty give us power to act upon all His commands. Aameen.
