to Allah we belong
:salam2:,

a young person is fortunate who behaves like an old man (i.e. remembers Allah, death) and an old person is unfortunate who behaves like a young man (i.e. still attached to this world, full of wishes, desires).

i read something like this in a hadith.

I do not know. But I saw the following Hadheeth of the prophet speaking about the old:
Volume 8 : Book 76 : Hadith 429 :

Narrated by Abu Huraira:

I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The heart of an old man remains young in two respects, i.e., his love for the world (its wealth, amusements and luxuries) and his incessant hope."

Clear Skies!
Us human beings we are infants and then become youth and then grows old. Once our skin was smooth now it has changed and now its crooked. NOT THE SAME AS BEFORE.
But as his hearth (not the literally) when he was young he longed for the wealth amusments, longer life. When he grows old his eagerness does not change. IT IS SAME AS BEFORE. AS IT WAS WHEN HE WAS YOUNG. IT NEVER GROWS OLD.
Hopes this helps
