wa alykkum salaam sister,

a man who inspired me other than Prophet (may peace be upon Him) will be, Commander of Mo'min Umar bin Khattab (r.a) mainly for his love towards Allah's rasool (pbuh) and he set a perfect example for a Just ruler.

the other man would be Lion of Allah Hamza (r.a)

Apart from Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), I find Prophet Ibrahim, Musa and Yusuf (Peace be upon them all) very inspiring. Its not that I like the other Prophets any less, its just that their lives inspire me.....Prophet Ibrahim (AS)'s search for truth; Prophet Musa (AS) leaving the palace of the Pharaoh to serve Allah and Prophet Yusuf (AS)'s strong strength of character.

Umar (RA), Khalid bin Waleed (RA) and Ali (RA) and most of the Sahabas led very inspiring lives too.
