Turning measures in recipes is difficult as we don´t know what others are using.

http://www.convertunits.com/from/cup+[US]/to/deciliter

Cup is using in USA and to deciliters 3/4 cup is about 1.7744118 deciliter. A little less than 2 deciliter.

ButterIf you know a cup of butter weighs 8 ounces, you could do the math yourself:
1 ounce = 28.34 grams, so one cup of butter weighs 227 grams.

1/4 cup of butter = 57 g
1/3 cup of butter = 76 g
1/2 cup of butter = 113 g
1 cup of butter = 227 g

Cooking apples are those apples whose are not eaten raw. Mostly they are sorts some whose are too hard or taste tart to eat as raw. Raw apples usually taste sweet.

Sister herb, we don't have cooking apples in our country, so sis Friend, just use any normal apples.

Coarse crumbs = dardara. You know, like rough grainy material.

My baking teacher taught me this: If you don't have the precise measuring cups, use a tea cup or a katori. And so measure all ingredients with that same utensil. So 3/4 cup would be teen-chauthai of the tea cup. Okay? Ask anything else, don't worry.

Salam alaykum

Don´t feel bad dear sister. You tried your best and next time leave cinnamon away and your hubby will love it.

:)

Maybe you could use some other instead cinnamon, like vanilla (beans or extract).
