When I did Umrah and Hajj I didn't get to touch it either, it was so busy I just didn't see the point of getting hurt or hurting others to get to the stone, it looked like a riot going on down there lol. It's kinda ironic, you go there to erase sins not to gain some more!
Don't forget the main thing: you're not supposed to get angry, especially if you're in a state of Ihram, and it is so easy to get angry for example when someone elbows you in the face (and it hurts) then pushes you and doesn't even say sorry, and this happening from all angles, so it's best to stay away from situations like that.
May Allah (swt) accept the Umrah and Hajj of all Hujjaj, Ameen.
May Allah (swt) invite us all to perform Umrah and Hajj, Ameen.
