Wacaleykumas-salaam waraxmatul'Lahi wabarakatuh,brother
may Allah guide you and family and convert your doubts to certainty and reliance on Him...aamiin
You should know that this a trial from Allah, the greater the test the bigger the reward so have patience and surrender yourselves to Him alone...Establish all obligatory deeds,do the optional as much as you can and always remember Allah for it is in the remembrance of Allah that the hearts really find peace, certainty and assurance.
Supplicate to Allah to remove your distresses and heal you from the Sihr for Allah is capable of healing you without you seeking any practical treatments if you so sincerely and solely rely on Him.
Nevertheless if one is affected by Sihr then there are permissible and established verses of the Quran and Du'aas from Ahadith otherwise known us Ruqyah which he could recite on himself. A good example is when the prophet{sal'Laahu caleyhi wasal'lam} had Sihr done on him, Allah revealed the Ma'udhatein{Falaq and Nas_chapters 113 and 114 of the Quran} and commanded him to recite them on himself... There are many verses of the Quran and a great number of Adhkar.
You should see a righteous, sincere and religious Raaqi{one who performs Ruqyah} who seeks only Allah's pleasure and believes that all is done by the Will and Decree of Allah to recite Ruqyah on you for there is nothing wrong in doing that as approved by the prophet{sal'Lahu caleyhi wasal'lam} when a group of companions did Ruqyah of Surah Al-Fatixa to the chief of the village they came across.
May Allah heal you and your family and all muslims and take our souls when we are muslimiin...aamiin
