women more than men in Hell?

Prophet said: “I looked into Paradise and I saw that the majority of its people were the poor. And I looked into Hell and I saw that the majority of its people are women.”

Prophet said: ‘You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands.

also said: If you (her husband) are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’” (al-Bukhaari, 1052)

many sisters may think that this hadith is against them but actually it is for their good. Prophet had so much concern for the women of his ummah that he told about this and also the reasons that they may save themselves from it.

so our sisters are adviced to save themselves from cursing, being ungrateful to their husbands, fortune-telling and magic (as women are more oriented towards it).

umm this Hadith is authentic. It is very dangerous to bring a conclusion like that. If you don't know of it's authenticity, than is way better to ask for the proof. Otherwise if it is authentic and we say is not, it's like saying a lie upon the prophet or it could be a rejection of what the prophet said. That could take us to disbelief while we don't even pay attention to it. The rounge is sething that will take most people to hellfire.

brother, the hadith is in Sahih Bukhaari.

women will not go to hell for being mother. they do wonderful job as a mother. may Allah reward them for that.

but women will go to hell for cursing too much, not thanking their husbands.

PS: if a father of 2 children killed a person, he'll be imprisoned by law. u cant say that he's a father..why u r punishing him!

well than you got a major problem. So you don't need Quran nor Hadith nor scholars, therefore you use your reasoning, mashallah. I'm impressed. That is what has brought the Muslims in terrible state we are in today. We left Quran and sunnah beavause it is outdated. We can think of better, right. Mashallah!

Even if the "Mother" is cursing the Apostle of Allaah (Na'uzubillah), you think Allaah will let go of her easily?

Well no of course not in that matter. What I find disturbing is why are there more women in hell then men ? Arent men for the most part are the ones spreading corruptions ? Arent men the ones commiting most crimes ?
And yet women go to hell for disobeying their husbands ? I'll agree with this hadith If I knew in what matters women would disobey their husbands in

they wont be asked about zakat and hajj as they are poor. they dont have money to spend in useless shopping. they dont have money for drinking. they dont have power to oppress others. but not all poor ones will be in heaven. if they did wrong, they'll be asked about it.

Allah will punish those men too who spread corruption. Allah is Creator of both..men and women. He is not against anyone. if a man as a ruler is oppressing ppl, he will be punished for that and if a women as an actress spreading fitnah, she will be punished for that.

husband does a lot for his wife and still she says that he did nothing when angry...so this is not liked by Allah.

PS: pharoah is hell but his wife in paradise.

in the matters of the religion( Quran, sunnah, etc) for me and you yes it is haram as we are not mujtahids (scholars who can bring verdicts). As for the scholars if there is no ruling for a matter that is asked neither in Quran nor sunnah, then the scholar can turn to qiyas as a last resort hopefully being correct. The prophet told us in one Hadith that if a scholar, mujtahids brings a verdict and is correct, he gets two rewards. If he errs, he gets one reward. As for nonscholats, if err while we know that we don't know, then we get sins for that but not a reward. Also, the prophet that scholars are inheritors of the prophets. So the scholars represent the prophets. Ofcourse the scholars who understand the Quran and sunnah the way the companions did and not like many today who think that they do not need the companions but they themselves are enough. How is it possible to understand this religion better than those who learned directly from the messenger ?
