Hope everyone is in good Health and Iman. Eid Mubarak to all.

As Muslims we know everything that we do, love and hate is for the sake of Allah.

My question - Is it Shirk to do favor/something for someone (not for Allah) to just satisfy them? If it's not shirk am I still sinning? Even it's our family?

Please can anyone clear this for me or give Hadith to prove it.

Well...as I know, you can do any thing to please your family as long as you do not get your self out of the lines which ALLAH TALA and His messenger has put.

I mean Islam says that you must obey your parents even thought they are non Muslims...BUT IF THEY TRY TO FORCE YOU TO WORSHIP SOME THING OTHER THAN ALLAH TALA...:astag:then you must disobey them on this particular issue...

for more understanding, verify whether the act you are gonna do to make you family happy, is permissible in Islam...if it is permitted....so then don't worry:)

we will see whether we get more clarifications..INSHA ALAH:)

its not shirk nor sin.

Allah rewards for being good to the family. but if you do it for the sake of Allah, you'll get more reward inshallah.
