y animated avater doesnt work??

i have a simple question that whenever i try change my avater to an animated avater its still avater not animated so can anyone help me that how can i change my avater into an animated avater??
i shall b very thanckful.

Animated avatars do work, sometimes. I've encountered that as well. it might be the "type" of animation it is.

Flash animation or other types of file things dont work. Otherwise, if it does work it'll be in the regular way you upload any avatar.

Make sure the avatar is a .gif file.

It should work then.
