Assalam Alaikam, I have a few questions about zakat:
1. i have savings which i have lent to a friend and i pay zakat every year on it. If i find myself in a situation where i have no income and can't aford to pay zakat on it and the friend is not ready to give the money back to me, what do i do? Do i pay the zakat when the money is returned?
2. If I had my savings in my bank and i wanted to invest the money so i don't have to pay zakat on it, is that bad that i want to invest for this reason? Also what could I invest in?
