    Ramadaan Mubaarak

There was a brother I met in Egypt who I think had applied to Madinah twice. He applied again this year and I saw his name on the acceptance list this year, so keep trying!!! Are you actually going in person? If not, try this, you have a greater chance into being admitted if you actually go to the university...

Akhi don't worry, there are plenty of alternatives. You could go Egypt and study with Shaykh Raslaan, plenty of people from your country there so you'll fit right in! Plus it's Ramadaan now, this is a time to be happy. Perhaps you'll benefit more this Ramadaan than you could've going to Madinah... Only Allaah knows, and it was best for you not to be accepted this time...

Sorry to hear akhi, inshaa' Allaah you'll get your shot.
    Assalamua'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Yes akhi, I do realized on the heated atmosphere here in TTI lately. Its quite depressing and annoying, to be honest - to see people debating over a matter that I am even unsure what is the benefit and where it will actually lead to. La haw la walla quwwata illa billah. Actually it was the same in the sisters' club a few weeks back and now seems like its been leading to the lounge.

At some point, I do feel like the only reason I'll log in here is to read the articles in the Islamic Articles forum.
Akhi, just to ask you - once I heard in a lecture that the full greeting of salaam is "Assalamua'laykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh wa maghfiroh wa ridwanah". You ever happened to come across the hadeeth?

Jazakaallahu khayr. Will inshaAllaah download the lectures and listen to it. Do share any beneficial posts again, inshaAllaah. Though many people seems to be preoccupied with controversial posts rather than Islamic articles, but at least even if a Muslim gain a huge benefit from those great posts in the Islamic Articles forum, that really is a big ajr, isnt it?

    Wassalam.
Wa 'Alaykum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh Akhi,

JazakAllahu Khayr for reminding, inshaAllah I was planning to put some excercises on 'arabic grammar that my teacher has given me from an excercise book which is taught in Indian Madrasas.

But, I'm just too busy these days...inshaAllah I will do it soon.

Wa 'Alaykum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh Akhi
    Wa'alaykummusalam wa rahmatullah,

No akhi, I am afraid I am not familiar with it. But yes, I have read the poem posted by Samiha.

Maybe you can ask Brother Al-Kashmiri or maybe Brother Thariq about it.

Jazaakallahu khaayr for sharing it. InshaAllaah will find the time to read it carefully (of what you have posted there).
