Muslims believe that faith is something which comprises of our beliefs and actions, and that it can both increase and decrease, based upon ones deeds etc. Not every Muslim has the same amount of faith, we all differ and go up and down depending on the deeds we commit.
Allaah has many names and attributes and from them is Ar-Rabb which is often translated as Lord, as it is the closest English word. It refers to the One who creators, ordinates, owns and governs everything, who is of course, Allaah. It is one of the names of Allaah that we use the most, especially in the Qur'aan and in our personal prayers.
