A Simple Smile

Start each day with the good deed of a simple smile.

Smiling is Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), its effects are long felt on the heart after it has been discharged.

A smile use less facial muscles than frowning so you never grow weary of smiling. PONDER: How Just and Equitable is Your Lord?

A smile is patience when going through bad times and recognition that ALLAH is just around the corner to take the sorrows away.

A smile is an 'arm around the shoulder' to a friend in the time of need, it doesn't need to be backed up by words, it just lets them know you are their for them (after ALLAH) should they ever fall or waiver.

A smile is the spark of hope that makes the heart catch fire with the remembrance of ALLAH through which troubles melt away into insignificance.

A smile is the window into the soul and acknowledgement that you may not have everything in life, but you are content with what ALLAH has blessed you with.

May ALLAH keep us all smiling in this life and the hereafter (Ameen!)

Jazakallah Khairan. All praise be to Allah for giving us the ability to think about the blessings He has granted us and the ability to praise Him for those blessing using some choice words which can never ever do justice for His countless favours upon us.
