I was wondering if anyone knew any information about Abdul Rashid Sufi. I looked him up on google after hearing some of his Quran recitation, and apparently he is the leading authority on the 10 Qiraat of the Quran. I was wondering if maybe anyone knew where to find a biography of him or maybe jsut more information.

JazakAllah khair for your efforts, but the results on the search engines either talk about sufis or different men with the name abdul rashid. There wasn't too much information that I could find regarding what I wanted to learn.

Anyone else?

Sheik Abdurrasheed Sufi is from Somalia. His father used to be one of the leading Muftis in Mogadishu.... Then the civil war happened and now he lives in Qatar I think with his family.

ooo oo ooo, i know him. his actually my uncle. anyways go to www.boqolsoon.com it's a somali website. his somali and um his under the place that says quran. all of the 114 chapters of quran are on there. salam.
