yes brother. a very brave warrior and a great Mujahid of Islam.

I tried try to post some information about him in the Islamic History forum but it did not come will try again.

yeah! tipu sultan also used rockets to chase out the british. and it is said that british learnt the rocket technology through him. (only Allah knows the truth.) :)

Definately Allah knows the Truth and I did try to make a post about it in the muslim history video section but it does not appear.

It was indeed Tipu who developed the rocked technology and was a poineer in rocket science and it was from him and his models of rockets that the British learned about rockets and first used them against americans at the time of american war of independance.

i think he is tipu sultan son of hyder Ali, the master of many languages (as per my 9th grade history text book. hehe. :) )

I am made a post about his rocket technolgy in the muslim history video section.I think so it is waiting for moderation after which you can go and see yourself brother.
Indeed his father Hyder Ali was considered as an illiterate yet he knew to speak many languages.
