Assalam Alaikum: My Islamic Br's & Sis's.
An individual is Muslim only and only if he practices all fundamentals of Islam without excluding any of its essentials. Being Muslim is not just a state of mind which confirms Monotheism or Tawheed.A person confirming Tawheed,Books of Allah,Prophethood,Hereafter and Angels but is non-practicing can't be called Muslim. In short being Muslim is an absolute status nothing less than that makes an individual a Muslim.
Now my question is how can an individual who at the edge of death, during his last breaths, pronounces ''Shahada" becomes a Muslim and is exempted from all his previous sins including the biggest of all sins the Shirk which he committed through out his life.?
Regards.
Abdullah.
