Best Timings for Acceptance of Du'a:allahuakbar:

By Mohammad Rafique Etesame

Narrated Abu Omamah (RA): that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) was asked, O Messenger of Allah, which supplication is heard (by Allah (SWT), he said the end of the night and at the end of the obligatory Salat (prayer) [at-Tirmidhi]

This hadith reveals about the best timings wherein the supplications of the faithful believer is most heard and most accepted. So first is: after ‘Tahajjud Slat’ that is offered at the end of the night, and second is: the supplication that is after establishing the obligatory Slats.

So a believer when he rises up at the end of the night and his family members are sleeping, he makes ablution, offers Thajjud prayer, feels ashamed over his sins and weeps and makes repentance for them. Then Allah All-Mighty likes this position of His slave and forgives him and accepts his supplication (lawful according to the teachings of Islam). The holy Qur'an reveals,"Lo! vigil of the night is (a time) when impression is more keen and speech is more certain" (Al-Muzzammil :6).

Notably, a faithful believer can ask anything from Allah the most high at any time and any place, but because offering Slats for five times daily is obligatory, so the supplications after prayers are most heard
