Clicking on Username

I clicked on my username and it led me to my profile page. Then I clicked on more usernames and that led me to their respective profiles. I saw some had a friendlist. How do I go about establishing a friendslist? Thanks.

go to the desired profile of any members then add them as friends but u'll need to wait for their conformation to accept
