Covering head in salah......?

Assalamu alaikum brothers.I have seen many peoples who doesnt give importance for covering their head.They keep their head open and hairs can be seen.Can anyone explain according to sunnah that we have to cover our head during salah or not.?

Its sunnah but not obligatory. Prophet mohammad(sw) had always coverd his head.
