As-Salaam alaykum,
The Noble Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:--

"Every individual of my Ummah will be pardoned (if he repents), except
those who are open sinners."
[Sahih Bukhari No. 6069].

Thereafter, in the same Hadith, the Prophet, alaihis-Salaat Was-Salaam, explained one of the ways in which this open sinning takes place.... that a person committed a sin at night, and Allah Ta'ala, out of His Grace and Mercy, concealed it. However, this person wakes up the next morning and advertises the wrong that he had committed at night.

Today, it so commonly happens that a person sins, takes 'selfies' and pots it on social media for all to view... at times giving detailed description of the wrong places he went to and the wrong actions he engaged in... all posted on the social media for everyone to read/ come to know of. Is this not the application of this Noble Hadith? Immorality, vice and shamelessness is being ciculated, whereas Allah Ta'ala, warns:--

"Those who wish for immorality and vice to spread in the Ummah, for them
is a very painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter."
(Surat Noor, Ayat 19)

Whosoever advertises his/her wrongs... sins... in this and such other similar ways should STOP and repent.
