As you all know the childhood of our Prophet Muhammed s.a.w was not easy. When he was just 8 years, he had allready lost his father, his mother and also his grandfather. To that the people around him s.a.w was very poor.

The sitution of our Prophet s.a.w by the standards of the time from the Quran:

Did He not find you orphaned and He gave you a home?/ He found you astray, and guided you./ He found you poor, and made you rich./ Therefore, you shall not forsake the orphan./ Nor shall you reprimand the beggar./ You shall proclaim the blessing your Lord has bestowed upon you. (93: 6-11)

The Prophet (s.a.w) is reminded of his past by these verses of the Quran. Beeing destitute and an orpahn, he s.a.w depended strong on Allah (Subanallahu Teala). Muhammed s.a.w knew from his own experience what people living in powerty were going through very well. His (s.a.w) past was a school facilitated him usefull knowledge on how to help those whom indigent lifestyle, he once shared.

Lesons for us from this: Never forget the obstacles you had to overcome. (Be it self-imposed or not) Draw a profit from your struggle and pain for yourself and others!

Taken from the book " Muhammed - on the footsteps of the prophet"

:salam2:dear sister,

Yes it's true that we shouldn't forget all the ordeals and obstacles we've gone through in our lives and benefit from them. However, we should also remember that the Prophet PBUH, being our role model and the best of all the sons of Adam, was meant to face all kinds of tribulations so as to ease our pains. He PBUH was an orphan, was hurt by pagans, humiliated as to have garbage thrown on his honourable back while praying, driven out of his homeland, suffering from hunger, from the death of so many of his family members, including his only son,Ibrahim, even his death pangs were the most severe. And what was his reaction to all that: nothing but BEAUTIFUL PATIENCE in the face to all hardships (PBUH).:tti_sister: May we all remember this whenever we face any hardship and react similarly to be fully rewarded inshaAllah in the hereafter.

Jazaky Allah khairan dear sister for this reminder.:hearts::hearts:
