assalam alaykom
i am not so sure about this issue but i think that any contamination with a haram prouduct to the food then the whole thing is haram to eat.
and if this thing is a "shobha" then it's better to avoid it.
one last thing, do these companies use the pork stuff in all countries they invest in. for instance in Egypt, does this apply here in the company's subsidiary.
jazakum allah khairan
A better way to know if the foods here are haram or halal is just by checking the package. If it has a U, or U with a D that is circled, or K for Kosher then it means that the product does not contain any ingredients from animals. I have checked many cheese products, and sadly, they don't have the letters.
Saalam:salam2: Mmmmmmmmm I've checked out at the supermarket looking for those letters this morning, i've found nothing similar. I guess this in the only country in the hole world when they don't care about nothing except the belgium bear and the french fries(they cook them not with oil but with animal fat beurk!)I'm wondering what can we really eat in Europe?
ps:i think I'll start making my Doritos by myself ,hehehhe
